Investigators release name of motorcyclist killed in metro-east crash
A 64-year-old Sparta woman died Wednesday in a crash involving a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer in Randolph County, authorities said Thursday.
Donna Martin was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to a news release from Randolph County Coroner Carlos J. Barbour.
Illinois State Police said Martin was the driver of a motorcycle that was in a collision with a truck at about 1:34 p.m. Wednesday on Illinois 150 at Paradise Road.
State police did not release any additional information about the crash.
Barbour and Illinois State Police said the case remains under investigation.
