Ready for July Fourth fireworks? Here’s a list of 11 events in our region
Fireworks shows are planned around the metro-east and St. Louis this week. The shows will all begin once the sun sets. If a show is set to begin at dusk, then it’s likely to be between 8:15 p.m. and 9:40 p.m.
Here’s where and when you’ll find professional fireworks displays:
- Columbia: Fireworks will begin at dusk on Thursday, July 4, at American Legion Park on 375 E. Locust St.
- Dupo: Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, at Dupo Park.
- Edwardsville: Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, at American Legion Post 199 on 58 S. State Route 157.
- Godfrey: Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, at Robert E. Glazebrook Park on 1401 Stamper Lane.
- Greenville: Fireworks will begin around 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, south of the Greenville Courthouse on Main Street.
- Mascoutah: Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, at Scheve Park on Harnett Street & Harper Road.
- Millstadt: Fireworks will begin at dusk on Thursday, July 4, at Village Park on West Parkview Drive.
- Nashville: Fireworks will begin at dusk on Thursday, July 4, at the Washington County Fairgrounds on 810 E. Holzhauer Drive.
- Sauget: Fireworks will begin at dusk on July 3 and July 4 at Grizzlies Ballpark on 2301 Grizzlie Bear Blvd. Tickets to get inside the stadium are around $20, and the fireworks coincide with baseball matches that start at 7:05 p.m. on both days.
- St. Louis: Fireworks will begin at 9:40 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, at the Gateway Arch.
- Troy: Fireworks will begin at dusk on Thursday, July 4, at Troy Township Park on 410 Wickliffe St.
