Illinois Route 161 closing for repairs at railroad crossing in Clinton County
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that a railroad crossing will be closed for repairs starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 8, near Grassy Branch Road and County Road.
The announcement said the closure will only last a day, but anyone using the road should expect delays and detours for the day of repairs.
The announcement said the weather could factor in when the repairs begin, so it may start on a different day if the weather worsens.
