Is Walmart open on the Fourth of July? Schnucks? See metro-east grocery holiday hours
If you need any last-minute ingredients for your Independence Day barbecue, you may want to double-check to make sure your go-to Belleville grocery store will be open Thursday.
The metro-east has several fireworks shows planned for on and around the Fourth of July, including in O’Fallon, Sauget, Mascoutah and Edwardsville. It might be a good idea to check out one of the planned displays rather than setting off fireworks at home, Illinois state officials recommend. Many southwestern Illinois municipalities have local ordinances regulating firework use.
