Three people hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash in Cahokia Heights
Three people have been hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Cahokia Heights Friday evening.
Cahokia Volunteer Fire Department was sent to the scene of a crash on Illinois Route 3, south of Illinois Route 157, at 6:53 p.m., Chief Stephen Robbins said. Prairie Du Pont Volunteer Fire Department responded as mutual aid.
The crash was between a FedEx van and a minivan, Robbins said. One person was in the FedEx van, and two people were in the minivan, he said.
Firefighters extricated one person from the minivan, and all three people were transported to the hospital, Robbins said.
He said the fire department is not aware of any fatalities.
