If you live in St. Clair County, here’s how to report flooding damage to local officials

Citing “dozens of water rescues” and “substantial damage” to government buildings that will require “extensive repairs,” St. Clair County Board Chairman Mark Kern issued a proclamation of a disaster for the county Monday night.

The county will conduct damage assessments to see if the area qualifies for a state or federal disaster declaration.
