Metro-east man dies after he loses control of vehicle, police said

A 39- year old East St. Louis man was killed when he lost control of his vehicle in the 600 block of Bond Avenue in Cahokia Heights Sunday night.
St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. confirmed that David Fayne, of the 400 block of N. 59th Street, died from his injuries following the crash.
Cahokia Heights Detective DeMarius Thomas said the police department received a call reporting the accident at 10:34 p.m. He said Fayne lost control of the Chevy Cruise he was driving.
Dye said Fayne was pronounced o scene at 11:30 p.m.Sunday. There were no other details immediately available Monday.
