Granite City woman identified as victim of fatal I-55 crash

A 35-year-old Granite City woman died in a crash on Interstate 55 early Monday morning.
St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. said Tiffany R. Kelly died from blunt trauma in the collision.
The crash occurred at 4:31 a.m. at exit 4 near Illinois 203, according to Illinois State Police. Two vehicles were involved, including an SUV and semi truck, according to Illinois State Police.
Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:35 a.m., Dye said.
The condition of any others involved in the crash has not been released.
State police closed the roadway and diverted their traffic from northbound I-55 to I-64 eastbound until about 8:30 a.m.
