Don’t miss this: A giant snake was found where?
▪ It sounds like something out of a bad horror movie, but it’s real: A huge Burmese Python was discovered in a rural St. Louis neighborhood after several residents’ pets suddenly went missing. Two Warren County men shot the snake after it attacked a small dog.
▪ The St. Louis Cardinals, searching for an additional hitter before the non-waiver trade deadline, lost another valuable piece of the offense when slugging outfielder Matt Holliday re-injured his quad running to first base. It’s expected that Holliday will be out for the season.
