Trucker accused of kidnapping, raping women he picked up in Pontoon Beach
A man from Arkansas has been charged in federal court in East st. Louis in connection to the kidnapping and rape of a pair of women he met in Pontoon Beach.
Malcolm K. Lee Sr, 43, of Jonesboro, Ark., allegedly answered an ad the women placed in June seeking sex partners. He agreed to meet the women at the Flying J truck stop at 1310 E. Chain of Rocks Road.
When they met, according to federal court documents, Lee pulled a gun on the victims and forced them into his truck. There he bound their arms and legs with cable ties and put duct tape over their eyes and mouths.
Lee took the women to a remote area, according to the allegations, where he repeatedly raped them.
Charges include kidnapping, using a firearm in a crime of violence and coercion.
