In case you missed it, the new MERS Goodwill store at 106 Auto Court in O’Fallon opened this month, marking the occasion with a March 13 ribbon cutting and grand opening.

As the O’Fallon store prepared to open, the store at 125 Commerce Lane in Fairview Heights went through a transition, according to Kim Scott, senior director of communications at MERS Goodwill.

The retail side of the Fairview Heights store closed and is now solely a donation center that officially opened the same day as the O’Fallon store, she said.

Donations will also be accepted at the new O’Fallon location and can be dropped off there during regular store hours, she said.

MERS Goodwill also has a retail store location at 5720 North Belt West in Belleville. Other area locations are in Granite City and Glen Carbon.

MERS Goodwill acquired the former Kia dealership facility, which was part of the Auffenberg Auto Mall, in August 2024, according to St. Clair County property tax records.

Hours at the new store, located at 106 Auto Court, O’Fallon, are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
