Cool and mostly sunny Friday but it’s going to be a steamy weekend
It looks as if Friday will be a pleasant day with mostly sunny skies and pleasant temperatures across the metro-east.
But things are going to heat up over the weekend.
The high will be 85 Friday with a gentle breeze from the southeast, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday night will be mostly clear with a low of 68.
On Saturday, the mercury will start to rise with a high temperature of 88 with increased humidity under mostly sunny skies.
Some clouds will move in Saturday night when the low will be 72.
Things will really heat up Sunday when the high will be 94. Skies will be mostly sunny. But the humidity level will be high and a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms could make things even steamier.
There is a 50 percent chance of rain Sunday night when the low will drop to 74.
The extended forecast calls for temperatures to cool next week with highs in the low to mid 80s expected.
