IDOT plans work on Illinois 143, 157 in Edwardsville

EDWARDSVILLE The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to have lane restrictions on Illinois 143 and Illinois 157 in Edwardsville, the agency said.

Work is planned on Illinois 143 from College Street to East Schwarz Street and on Illinois 157 from Illinois 143 to West Schwarz Street, weather permitting.

Lane restrictions are scheduled to take place between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. to remove and replace handicap ramps and to mill and resurface the pavement, IDOT said.

The work is scheduled to be completed by June 30, IDOT said.
