Another day of storms, then sunshine and cool temperatures
After a stormy end to the weekend, it’s likely to be a wet Monday across the metro-east.
There is a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day with a high of 87, according to the National Weather Service. The best chance for rain is in the afternoon, especially after 3 p.m.
The chance of showers and thunderstorms will decrease to 30 percent during the evening, when the low will be 71.
The forecast for the middle part of the week appears to be very promising.
It will be sunny Tuesday with a high of 84 and a cool breeze from the north.
A few clouds will move in during the evening when the low will be 64.
Skies will be sunny again on Wednesday when the high will be 83.
Overnight it will be mostly clear with a low of 64.
