Business briefing: Online sales flying at Wingstop
More orders for chicken wings are flying via online from Wingstop.
The number of online sales at the chicken wing chain reached 13 percent during the second quarter, according to the Nation’s Restaurant News. Overall sales were up 9 percent during the quarter.
Wingstop has more than 700 restaurants located across the country, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia, with locations coming soon to the United Arab Emirates. Wingstop has metro-east restaurants in Edwardsville and Granite City.

Berkshire Hathaway is buying aircraft, power plant and industrial components manufacturer Precision Castparts Corp. for about $32.3 billion.
