Is this mid-August? Cool temperatures hold sway for region
A stretch of several very nice days is in the forecast for the metro-east.
Skies will be sunny with a high of 84 Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. That’s five degrees cooler that the average high temperature of 89 for the middle of August in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
The low will be 66 Tuesday night when skies will be mostly clear.
On Wednesday, the high will be 83 under mostly sunny skies. Overnight, the low will be 64 and skies will be mostly clear.
The temperature will warm up a later in the week. On Thursday and Friday it will be 86, still a little bit below normal, under sunny skies.
On Saturday it will be mostly sunny with a high of 88 and on Sunday it will be sunny and 89.
