Coroner IDs victim killed in metro-east highway crash

A 23-year-old St. Jacob woman lost her life early Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 255 southbound at Forest Boulevard in St. Clair County.
Jacquelyn B. Rucker, whose last known address was on Keck Road in St. Jacob, was identified as the victim by St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr.
The car left the roadway and struck a bridge support in the median, Illinois State Police said.
The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene at 6:30 a.m.
Illinois State Police said no other information about the crash investigation was available to be released.
