Another pleasant day on tap; when will it heat up?

It’s going to be another pleasant day in the metro-east.

The high will be 84 Wednesday under sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service. That’s five degrees cooler than the average high of 89 for the middle of August in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Wednesday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 64.

On Thursday a gradual warming trend will begin. It’s going to be 86 under sunny skies. Overnight it will be mostly clear with a low of 66.

The high will be 88 on Friday while skies will be mostly sunny. Friday night, it will be mostly clear and 67.

It will be sunny this weekend with a high of 89 Saturday and 90 Sunday.
