UPDATE: MetroLink trains are single-tracking because of St. Louis building collapse

MetroLink trains are expected to be delayed because of a building collapse at Laclede’s Landing in St. Louis, according to published reports.

St. Louis Chief of Police Sam Dotson said on Twitter part of a wall of a building along North Second Street had collapsed. There were no known injuries.

Metro said on Twitter partial service has restored between the 5th & Missouri and Stadium stations. Trains are operating at restricted speeds and on a single track between those stations.

The Laclede’s Landing station remains closed, Metro said.

All MetroLink riders could see delays of up to 45 minutes, Metro said.

Only Blue Line trains will operate between the Forest Park DeBaliviere and Shrewsbury I-44 MetroLink stations, Metro said.

Red Line trains are operating between the Lambert Airport and Stadium stations in Missouri, and between the 5th and Missouri and Shiloh-Scott stations in the Illinois, Metro said.
