Family of four escapes early morning O’Fallon house fire
Investigators are trying to determine what caused an early-morning house fire in O’Fallon.
The fire department received a call at just after 1:30 a.m. Monday about a fire in a home at 206 Pierce Blvd.
The occupants of the home were able to safely escape, according to fire department reports.
Two adults and two children were in the home at the time the fire started. The American Red Cross has provided emergency food, shelter and clothing to the displaced family.
Information about how and where the fire started was not immediately available.
