Warmer weather Friday, chance of rain this weekend

It will get warmer outside Friday following the recent cooldown, but there’s a chance of rain throughout the weekend.

The forecast from the National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies Friday with a high temperature to reach 83 and a low around 59 by this evening.

The warmer conditions are expected to continue into the weekend with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and a 40 percent chance of rain on Sunday morning

The remainder of the forecast for Sunday calls for mostly sunny skies by the afternoon, with highs expected to reach 82.
