Sunshine, cool temperatures next several days
Cool temperatures and plenty of sun are on the agenda for the metro-east over the next several days.
The high will be 79 Tuesday with sun and a breeze from the west at 6-11 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
That’s eight degrees cooler than the average high of 87 for late August in the metro-east.
The low will drop to 54 Tuesday night under clear skies with light winds of up to 9 mph.
On Wednesday, the high will again be 79 under sunny skies with a breeze from the southeast at 5-7 mph.
The low will be 55 under mostly clear skies Wednesday night.
The high will be 80s Thursday under sunny skies with a 5-7 mph breeze from the southeast.
Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a low of 59.
