Don’t Miss This: Hit and run and run and run? Cops can’t find a woman who in June hit several people with her car

Police are looking for an East St. Louis woman who has managed to elude police for two months after she allegedly drove into a group of women with her car following an argument. She’s been charged with nine counts including charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

▪ Belleville Township may soon be no more. A bill to allow the township board to vote on weather to dissolve the government body introduced by State Rep. Jay Hoffman (D-Swansea) which was approved by the General Assembly earlier this year has been signed by the governor.
