The second installment of property tax payments in St. Clair County is due on Tuesday, St. Clair County Treasurer Charles Suarez said.
Property owners with delinquent taxes should be aware that if their current taxes are unpaid after Sept. 1, the tax buyer may add the current tax to their delinquent balance, Suarez said.
Taxes may be paid by mail, at many local banks and credit unions, online by e-check or credit card, by telephone using a credit card, or in person at the treasurer’s office.
The second installment of property taxes in Madison County is due on Sept. 9. If residents chose to pay in four installments, the third installment is due Oct. 9 and fourth installment is due Dec. 9.
