Temperatures in the 90s are back for a while

Highs will reach back into the 90s in the metro-east starting Tuesday.

Skies will be mostly sunny Tuesday with a high of 90, according to the National Weather Service.

It will be mostly clear Tuesday night with a low of 71.

On Wednesday, the mercury will climb to 92 under mostly sunny skies with a southwest breeze of 6 mph. During the evening hours, the low will drop to 71.

Thursday will be an instant replay with a high of 92 and mostly sunny skies during the day. It will be partly cloudy with a low of 71 overnight.
