Business briefing: Belleville’s Fun Spot goes 3-D

A Belleville indoor skating rink now features another dimension.

Fun Spot Skating Center at 1400 West Blvd. has undergone an interior remodeling that includes more than initially meets the eye. Artist Jodie Barilleaux, Panama City, Fla., has designed and added new three-dimensional glowing graphics around the entire skating floor and party room. Fun Spot now offers 3-D birthday parties complete with 3-D glasses.

General Mills is selling its vegetable lines Green Giant and Le Sueur to B&G Foods Inc. The deal is worth a reported $765 million in cash. General Mills made the move to take another step away from the frozen and canned vegetables business. Read more here.
