Accident on U.S. 50 leaves SUV upside-down, camper on its side

A sports-utility vehicle pulling a large camper crashed Sunday on new U.S. 50 near Carlyle.

At about 12:45 p.m., the vehicle was upside-down and the camper was on its side along the road and police, fire and ambulance crews had responded.

It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was injured. Clinton County Sheriff’s Department did not release a statement.
