▪ Full house? Complaints from some Belleville residents have caused an alderman to ask the Belleville City Council to reconsider an ordinance that allows up to 16 students to live in houses owned by Lindenwood University.

▪ Some potential good news for the economy of the metro-east: The area is believed to be one of two finalists in a bid to land the National Geospacial Intelligence Agency headquarters. St. Clair County leaders pitched a 192-acre plot near Scott Air Force Base for the headquarters which would bring 3,100 jobs to the area.
