IDOT closes eastbound lane of I-55/64
The Illinois Department of Transportation has closed the left lane of eastbound Interstate 55/64 near the Poplar Street Bridge.
The lane is expected to be closed Tuesday night, into Wednesday, because of a “road failure,” IDOT said.
Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route.
