The driver and passenger of one SUV were transported to a hospital with minor injuries after a collision with another SUV on Illinois 4 at Heintz Road south of St. Libory.

An Illinois State Police trooper at the scene said a black Dodge Durango was northbound on Illinois 4 passing through the intersection when a southbound red Chevrolet Blazer attempted to make a left turn onto Heintz Road and struck the Dodge.

The Chevrolet sustained front-end damage and came to rest near the northeast corner of the intersection. The Dodge sustained heavy front-end damage and came to rest at the edge of a cornfield parallel to Illinois 4.
