Wet weather likely Tuesday

Bring along an umbrella Tuesday morning. You’re likely to encounter some wet weather in the metro-east.

There is a 50 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms and showers throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.

The high temperature Tuesday is expected to reach 76.

Tuesday night, the chance of rain will decrease to 20 percent and the low temperature will be 56.

Skies will clear up as the day goes on Wednesday. But warm weather will leave with the clouds. The high will be 71.

Wednesday night, the low will drop all the way to 48 under mostly clear skies.

The high on Thursday will top out at 69 with sunny skies. It will be mostly clear during the evening with a low of 44.
