Fall weather arrives with cooling temperatures
Skies will be cloudy across the metro-east early Wednesday.
But things should clear up with the sun coming out as the day goes on, according to the National Weather Service.
After a couple weeks with temperatures above the historic average, it will be cooler with a high reaching only 70.
Overnight, skies will be mostly clear with a low of 46.
The cooling trend will continue Thursday when the high will only reach 66. Skies will be sunny with winds of up to 15 mph.
Thursday night the low will be 45 under mostly clear skies.
It will be sunny with a high of 66 Friday. During the evening, a few clouds will move into the metro-east with a low of 46.
The extended forecast calls for partly to mostly sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday with a high of 65 on both days.
