Cool temperatures, clouds expected this weekend
It’s going to be a cool but dry weekend across the metro-east.
Skies will be mostly sunny Friday with a high temperature of 66, according to the National Weather Service. It will seem even cooler with a north wind of up to 18 mph.
It will become mostly cloudy Friday night with a low of 50 and breezes up to 13 mph.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy Saturday when the high will top out at 65. Winds will blow from the northeast at up to 16 mph.
The low will be 52 Saturday night under mostly cloudy skies.
On Sunday, skies will be mostly cloudy with a high of 68.
Sunday night the mostly cloudy skies will remain and the low will drop to 55.
Temperatures are expected to jump back into the 70s next week, according to the extended forecast, with a high of 73 Monday, 77 Tuesday and 78 Wednesday.
