Sunny skies, high temperatures persist

The forecast calls for sunny skies Sunday and most of the work week, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday, the high temperature is expected to reach 80. Later tonight, the low temperature will be around 59.

Temperatures will remain high Monday for the Columbus Day holiday. The high is expected to be near 80, and the low will be around 49.

It will cool down slightly Tuesday, with a high near 70 and a low around 49. Wednesday and Thursday are both expected to see a high near 73 and a low around 46 and 47, respectively.
