More unseasonably pleasant weather is on the way. At least for a couple of days.
Skies will be sunny with a high temperature of 74 Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Overnight, the low will drop to 48 under mostly clear skies.
On Thursday, it will be sunny with a high of 78 degrees. That’s seven degrees warmer than the average high for Oct. 15 in the St. Louis metropolitan area, 71.
But things will change Thursday night when a cold front moves into the area. There is a 20 percent chance of showers under cloudy skies with a low of 48.
On Friday skies will again be sunny. But the high temperature will only reach 63.
There is a chance of patchy frost Friday night when the low will be 37 under mostly clear skies.
The weekend is expected to be sunny but cool. The high Saturday will be 57 and on Saturday it will be 63.
