Want vodka sauce on your pizza? New Mascoutah pizzeria has it

A new pizzeria that opens Monday in Mascoutah features cuisine pizza, including one with vodka sauce.

The doors at Palermo’s Pizzeria at 200 E. Main St. open at 11 a.m. They will be open seven days a week until 9 p.m. on week nights and later on weekends. Delivery will be coming soon.

The owner of Grandpa Luke’s Deli & Coffee House in Millstadt has gone out of business. Restaurateur and chiropractor Kevin Schmidt said he is looking for someone to lease his space at 741 W. Washington St., after he had opened his restaurant there more than a year ago. Schmidt, who also operates chiropractic practices in Millstadt and Freeburg, said his business struggled after the Subway in town recently reopened following an eight-month closure. He also said he has heard from some people who were interested in his space. Stay tuned.

John Eichenlaub, of Barber Murphy Group in Shiloh, recently brokered a property transaction for Frank Vilmer, who has relocated his Caseyville auto repair shop across town. A commercial developer has broken ground on an office-warehousing site in Collinsville. The Maune Co. has started construction of a 53,000-square-foot building at 1607 Eastport Plaza Drive, which will be the third for the developer at Eastport Plaza. The St. Louis-based company develops office and industrial space for tenants throughout the metro area. Construction of the new property is anticipated to be completed by February.

A medical aesthetics product supplier has named Musick Dermatology LLC in Swansea among the top dermatology practices in the nation. Suneva Medical Inc. has awarded the Swansea dermatology practice with the Bella Diamond status for its expertise and experience in using Suneva Medical’s Bellafill product.
