IDOT plans lane restrictions along eastbound I-270

The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to have intermittent lane restrictions along eastbound Interstate 270, the agency said.

Geotechnical investigations for proposed road improvements are planned along the road from Illinois 157 to Illinois 159 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Work, weather permitting, is planned to take place during the daytime, IDOT said.
