Business Briefing: O’Keefe Law has new office in Belleville

O’Keefe Law in Belleville has moved.

The practice has relocated to 1 S. Church St. in town. Attorney Joe O’Keefe established the law firm two years ago. His practice also serves clients across the river at 9939 Gravois Road in St. Louis.

O’Keefe Law provides legal expertise with wills and trusts, estate and gift tax planning, probate, trust administration and corporate and business law.

McDonald’s seems to have ended its two-year sales losing streak. The fast-food restaurant is reporting a 4 percent increase in global sales for the first time since 2013. The news follows the burger chain’s recent transition to include Egg McMuffins and other breakfast items on its menu all day long. Read more here.

More jobs are coming to GM. General Motors Co. is adding a second shift at its Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly plant. This will mean more than 1,200 hourly and salaried jobs that will increase the plant’s workforce to about 2,800. Learn more here.

A new Nike store that will open this weekend in Chicago will only sell Michael Jordan merchandise. The new Jordan Brand store opens Saturday and will sell merchandise with the trademarked Michael Jordan “Jumpman” silhouette.
