Belleville microbrewery to roll out new canning site

A new beer canning site located next door to 4204 Main Street Brewing Co. in Belleville is about ready to open.

The microbrewery and restaurant purchased the former Popeye’s Chicken restaurant at 4130 W. Main St. The property has been converted to a site where the brewery’s beer will be canned and distributed to stores.

And as of this month, the Belleville restaurant and bar at 4204 W. Main St. is open on Mondays.

Fire-N-Smoke Wood-Fired Kitchen in O’Fallon now serves a buffet. From Sunday through Thursday, the restaurant at 1214 Central Park Drive sets out a spread of its fried chicken, barbecue and more. On Fridays, it adds seafood to the mix and on Saturdays, the buffet line includes steaks. But don’t go looking for the buffet at the restaurant’s location at 914 Edwardsville Road in Troy. It’s only available at the O’Fallon restaurant.

Supercuts is now cutting hair at a new location in O’Fallon. The hair care chain has opened at 1171 N. Green Mount Road in Green Mount Plaza, where they are open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday.

Barber Murphy Group recently completed the sale of the former Realtor Association of Southwestern Illinois office in Belleville. The office building at 3515 North Belt West has been sold to The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Southern Illinois. The local Realtors association recently left the property and moved to 1124 Hartman Lane, Suite, 120, in Shiloh.
