Wet weather that hung around the metro-east on Tuesday and Wednesday has moved out of the area.
But the cold front that brought the rain has left chilly temperatures to stay for a while.
Skies will be sunny Thursday but the high temperature will only reach 57, according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday night, the temperature will plummet to 38 under clear skies.
A few clouds will move back into the area over the course of the day Friday. The high temperature will be 62.
Scattered showers are in the forecast for Friday night when the low will be 49.
There is a 70 percent chance of showers predicted for Saturday when the high will be 59.
Saturday night, the chance of rain will decrease to 30 percent, hopefully giving kids a chance to stay dry while doing their Halloween candy hunting. The low will be 50.
On Sunday it will be mostly sunny with a high of 67 during the day and there is a 20 percent chance of rain will a low of 49 at night.
