Fog makes it tough to get around Tuesday morning

Heavy fog will make travel difficult in the metro-east Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory until about 10 a.m. Visibility is down to about a quarter mile in spots.

When the fog lifts, mostly cloudy skies will be left behind with a high of 62 expected.

Dense fog will return Tuesday night with a low of 54 predicted.

Fog will remain into Wednesday morning, lasting until about 9 a.m. After that, skies will become partly sunny with a high of 73.

Wednesday night, skies will be partly cloudy with a low of 56.

There is a 40 percent chance of showers Thursday with the most likely time for rain coming after noon. The high will reach about 72.

Thursday night, the chance of rain will increase to 80 percent with a low of 60.
