A fire forced a family of seven from their home in Cahokia Friday night.

Firefighters were dispatched to the home at 315 St. Kevin St. at 10:07 p.m. The first arriving firefighters reported at least one rear room of the home being fully engulfed in flames, according to emergency radio transmissions.

Camp Jackson, Dupo and Prairie Du Pont firefighters also were dispatched to assist the Cahokia crews in the firefight.
