Church’s services Sunday will honor military personnel, first-responders

New Life In Christ Interdenominational Church in O’Fallon is holding special services Sunday to honor military personnel, veterans and first-responders.

The “Celebrating the Servant” services are at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the church, 689 Scott-Troy Road.

A reception will follow both services.

The church’s founding pastor, Bishop Geoffrey V. Dudley Sr., is a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and chaplain.

“Our first-responders are tested daily,” Dudley said. “We want those individuals, especially our law enforcement workers, to know that we respect and appreciate their commitment to serve and protect.”
