Up to four inches of rain could fall on the metro-east in the next two or three days.

Thunderstorms are expected Tuesday when the high will be 67. Occasional heavy downpours are again expected and winds will kick up with gusts of up to 22 mph from the southeast.

On Wednesday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers in the forecast with a high of 60.
Skies will finally start to clear up Wednesday night, becoming partly cloudy. The low will be 39.
