Business Briefing: Cars sold in metro-east cost more than state average
You will pay a little more to buy a new car in the metro-east than some places in Illinois.
According to a new list released by online auto price guide Autolist, you can expect to pay $96 more than the state average for a new car in St. Clair County and $450 more than the state average for one in Madison County.
The list ranks Belleville at No. 32 for most affordable place to buy a vehicle in Illinois, where new cars cost $71 more than the state average.
