The National Retail Federation estimates about 30 million consumers shopped on Thanksgiving Day and 99.7 million will be shopping the day after, on “Black Friday.” Overall, about 135.8 million people are expected to be shopping during the four-day weekend, up from the 133.7 million who did so last year.
