IDOT putting in new ramps in downtown Edwardsville

The Illinois Department of Transportation has put into place parking lane closures along Main Street, the agency said.

Weather permitting, the parking lane closures at the intersections of Main Street and Hillsboro Avenue and Main Street and St. Louis Street, in the downtown area, are planned to take place from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. until Dec. 18.

IDOT put in the parking lane restriction in order to replace handicap accessible ramps in the work area, IDOT said.
