St. Clair County Health Department is offering flu vaccines for youngsters
The St. Clair County Health Department is offering flu shots for youngsters ages 6 months to 19 years.
The shots are provided through the Vaccines for Children Program.
Youngsters may receive a flu vaccine if:
▪ Their private insurance doesn’t pay for the flu shot,
▪ The person has an active Medicaid card,
▪ The person doesn’t have insurance, or
▪ The person is native American or an Alaskan native.
To schedule an appointment for a flu shot call 618-233-6170.
Walk-in clinics are held on Monday and Tuesdays, and appointments are scheduled Wednesday through Friday. The health department at 19 Public Square Suite 150 in Belleville is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
