Rain in forecast through Tuesday for metro-east

Rain is in the forecast for the metro-east until at least Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Precipitation is likely Sunday, and wind gusts as high as 31 mph are expected. The high temperature Sunday will be near 65, and the low temperature will be around 49.

On Monday, there is a 30 percent chance of rain before noon. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 52 and a low around 39. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Tuesday is expected to be sunny, but there is a 30 percent chance of rain in the evening.

The high temperature Tuesday will be near 56, and the low temperature will be around 45.
