Jeep rolls over near Millstadt, causes hourlong traffic delays
A man was uninjured Monday morning when he rolled over his Jeep in rural Millstadt.
The crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. on Illinois 163, according to fire department reports. The call stated the driver might be trapped in the vehicle. But firefighters said he was already out of his Wrangler when they arrived.
The identity of the driver was not released by authorities. Firefighters had no information early Monday about the cause of the one-vehicle accident.
Traffic was restricted in the area for about an hour while a tow company dragged the vehicle out of the farm field where it crashed.
